Bratus is a small place situated around 5 km south of Baska Voda, and it is known for its white gravel beaches and for its clear sea.
Bratus is a fishermen's village with around 50 inhabitants that recently deals also in tourism. There is a nice restaurant with traditional Dalmatian food, different coffee places, shops and a small port for boats. Old stone houses can be found in the centre of the place, and as an example of Dalmatian architecture the Kacic mansion can be seen. Near Bratus the prehistoric find Gradina can be visited. There is a possibility for many excursions: the natural park Biokovo, fish picnic on excursion boats to islands Hvar and Brac, visits to Omis, Trogir, Blue and red Lake near Imotski, Dubrovnik, Mostar, Meğugorje...
