Igrane is an idilic Dalmatian village situated in the heart of Makarska Riviera, 7 km away from Podgora and 15 km far from the city of Makarska. The village is placed on a small peninsula with a vast pebble beach on the southeast, the beach is 1.5 km long. The sarcophagi dating from the Roman Age bears witness to a long history of the village. The Baroque summer house of Simic-Ivanisevic family was built in the 18th century, the house is situated on the beach. There is the St. Michael's church (XI/XII ct) located in the middle of the olive trees above the village. In the village there stands the Baroque parish church (from 1752). The village is characterized by the tall church-tower.
There is the breakwater in the port suitable for the smaller yachts to ashore.
