The wide hinterland through which flows the river Cetina and
to which even the breath of the Meiterranean
reaches , consists of a mountainous landscape with karst , wide fields and
settlements, among which Sinj and Imotski have got urban characteristics.On it's south-east side ,
Dalmatinska Zagora is «closed» with mountain Biokovo- the highest mountain
on the both sides of Adriatic. It is possible to come by car or by byke to
its famous peak Sveti Jure (1.762 m) either from the hinterland or from the
seaside.
You
can also enjoy in miracles of karst: Red and Blue lake near Imotski, cave
Vranjaca (on the Mosor mountain) near village Kotlenice, just 20 minutes
driving from Split.
